Satu ≠ Padu Collaborative
House Wife 2021
Satu ≠ Padu Collaborative was founded in 2021 by Prach Pimarnman with De' Lapae Art Space Narathiwat serving as the networking point to collaborate with the local community in Narathiwat and its vicinity. The collaborative is not exclusive to artists but a network of people from various backgrounds, from grassroots philosophers and homemakers to activists.
The members are united by their shared interests in the layered historical issues that arise from the complex past of the Patani Region (Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat) and the Bangkok area (Malayu Bangkok). Beyond history, they also consider the tapestry of the local identities to reflect its diversity and their interrelationship. The group aims to introduce these narratives beyond the mainstream to reflect on the intricate origins of the violence and disagreement in the three provinces of the Southern region through their installations, motion picture, sound and community outreach
